With water-damaged carpet, we uplift and dispose of the carpet, and remove any underlay and smooth edge (edging strip) which has been affected by mould. We apply a mould treatment to the subfloor, install a new smooth edge and underlay, and then continue with the patch repair.
For water-damaged carpets, we take utmost care and gently remove the underlay or edges that have been affected by mould. Then mould tare is removed with advanced techniques in the subfloor and then a new underlay and smooth edge are installed. Later on, the patch repair is done.
To smoothen all the existing wrinkles and folds a power stretcher is used to. First, the carpet is used and then carpet re-stretching is done.
